Lab Testing

Performance Chemical provides an onsite lab capable of producing standard and specific analytical data. Staffed by degreed chemists, who are knowledgeable and experienced in oil field chemistry, while providing research, product development, and technical support.

Analyze fluids employing:

  • Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP)
  • Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR)

Measure bacteria by using:

  • Serial dilution bottles
  • Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP)

Perform crude oil analysis to determine the:

  • Quality of crude oil.
  • Solids, paraffin, and asphaltenes in crude oil.
  • Pour point and cloud point of crude oil.

Identify solids utilizing:

  • Solvency & vacuum filtration
  • X-Ray diffraction analysis
  • X-Ray fluorescence analysis

Evaluate coupons to

  • Measure corrosion rand scale deposition rates

Quantify chemical residuals such as:

  • Phosphate, Polyacrylate and Amine based scale inhibitors.

Interpret total suspended solids utilizing:

  • Millipore filtration analysis
  • Solvency & vacuum filtration
