During an almost 40-year career, Burl has worked as both an end user and a provider of chemicals. Starting in 1978 as a drilling supervisor for NL HYcalog, he joined an industry leading chemical company two years later. His 14-year tenure there saw him move up to become the company’s Permian Basin regional sales manager in Midland. From there, he was recruited by The Western Company to an executive position within another chemical company—which was soon bought out. There, he moved up to regional business manager for both the Permian Basin and the Rocky Mountain regions.
In 2004, he assumed even more responsibility as business manager for the entire US operation for a large international service company entering the oilfield chemicals industry. He has been President of PCC since its founding in 2008.
